Yes, it’s true. After more than ten years since it’s first release in 2001, Battle Realms is working its way to a new release on current gen PC’s.
More details are forthcoming, but Liquid is in talks with providers to bring BR back to RTS fans everywhere.

Thank you for rereleasing it! It is definitely one of my favorite games. Two questions: 1) Are you rereleasing WOTW as well? 2) Is there a way that you can release it for Macs as well? I got a Mac about a year ago and haven’t been able to play Battle Realms since. If you can get it working for Macs, that would be awesome!! Keep up the great work.

I look forward to smashing everybody in multiplayer again. So long as all the problems from the last battle pack are fixed. I miss the days of all the clans and shenanigans on the old boards.

are u making a new battle realms? after the winter of the wolf…..cause i have some suggestions..can u add more units..and more clans..like The black dragons, silver paladins, and the golden empire or u can add more..which u can make the armor more cooler than before….can u make the title of the new battle realms..” Rise of The Shadows”….or “Rise of the new enemies”….and can u add more cool heroes>>thank you………
Yes… yes we are. There are lots of things in the works over here. First up is a whole new Card Game for iPhone/iPad that takes place in the Battle Realms universe. The fans demanded it and wanted us to tell more of the Battle Realms story so the card game, currently called Battle Realms Genesis, goes back to the beginning, before Tarrant and the Horde, and brings a fun, fast play card game experience to mobile devices everywhere. Beyond that there are a number of efforts in the works to resurrect the original BR and to do a sequel. It’s to early to talk about any of that, but stay tuned. In my mind, Battle Realms was always conceived of as a huge fantasy world, even more than the original Battle Realms game exposed or the original Battle Realms team was privy to. Over the years, I’ve continued to flesh out the world, its characters, and its stories. Now we want to show you all that and reopen the doors to Battle Realms for everyone.

You know guys, this game is one of my favorite since i started playing gamings in PC , my first game ever…..I like more of stories about the heroes life like sacrificing, how to be brave , its about courage . But most of all …..why i like this game its because of putting yourself to think about an offensive and defense Strategy . Whoah …..

One of the best in Battle Realms that other MODERN RTS games & Gamers failed to understand Is that from being a peasant you can train him to be rookie warrior.. Then cross training.. you can upgrade his ability and strength to become a GREAT warrior That will conquere all other enemies.. THIS IS EPIC in the history of world games.. No one can ever replace the deep sense of BR.. it is more than a game.. it is living.. That saying..

Today I accidentally founded my CD with Battle Realms. I don’t know how I could forget about it, but as soon as I founded it, I installed it. Just when menu music started to play I felt like I’m back home. It was one of my first games and I spend so many hours playing it. I never played online, but skirmishes made it fun for a long time anyway. I always like those “shitty” old styled ingame cutscenes, I liked the BR world and the mood it had. I roleplayed in skirmishes(for example: I made only crossbowmans as it was meant to be “mercenary village”, as I liked they look, voice, movement. It sound silly but It was fun). I even used BR universe to play with my friend outside, we roleplayed for days and came up with many stories. xD
Now I see that the next BR is planned, It’s just great news! I wish you luck!

Yes but.. I’ve been looking forward for a change.. always news but only gossips.. rumours.. I’m a programmer and modded BR for years, I never stop playing bc I can make it as I want, but the fact is, its real time action is incredibly amazing.. Its the only game which I like the fights, the skirmishes, etc.. If im such a looser, and could make new graphics and new (buggy) units, in a few months a well experienced team can make a great job with this game.. The new and revolutionary fact would be, appart from better graphics.. the user has the ability to choose a unit and toggle a First Person camera and control the unit itself, using the standard unit attacks, but the player chooses when to use them
that would revolution all in games nowadays.. And of course, lvling up (only more damage, speed, resistance, standard unit variables, but increased)
That was greate.. But instead of leveling up.. It might be better to assign ranks with each units.. example.. if you have one musket that has alot experience.. he will be ranked as Elite Musketeer or somethng like that.. and when they get higher rank,, Their image, armor, weapon and clothing would be rise to the next level… also their attributes , vitality, stamina, and damage as well.. and they can perform new actions that a regular musket can’t do.. like climb and hide on top of the tree.. and shoot the head of closing enemies,, that they dont know where that shot come from.. only to catch that elite musket is to burn down the whole forest .. it must be better if they can receive higher ranks 3 to 5 times.. and ofcourse they have a default actions to command the low ranking same type of unit.. if you do not issue your own command..
